About Apostle Norma Fontaine
Apostle Norma Fontaine-Philbert assumed the role of senior pastor of Garden of Grace Ministries in May 2012. She is committed to raising and equipping people by teaching them the principles of God’s Word she lives by. She speaks frequently at church seminars and conferences around the world, having had the opportunity to minister in North America, Africa and Europe.
She has a heart for the hurting and destitute and recognizes that her public platform gives her the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of others. In addition to her pastoral and speaking ministry, she is the founder and director of École Primaire Jardin de Grace (Garden of Grace Primary Primary School) one of the church’s outreach ministries in Haiti.
Her Ordination:
A Mortgage Banker and Entrepreneur by secular profession, Pastor Norma was ordained to the ministry by the Association of International Gospel Assemblies – AIGA. She had been married to her high school sweet-heart, Pastor Francis for over past thirty years. Their union has produced two sons – Andrew Samuel and Jonathan David.
As a Life Coach
As a Life Coach, Pastor Norma has been successful in helping many individuals achieve more productive and rewarding lives, filled with empowerment and tangible accomplishments. She employs God-inspired techniques to help each client on their journey to live their lives for the purpose God created them. From entrepreneurs to seasoned professionals, stay at home mothers, spiritual leaders and students, her goal is always to point them to the One who came to give us the abundant life.
As a Missionary
Pastor Norma is the consummate missionary having served in several countries for over a decade and a half. Her heart of compassion compels her to bring relief to the hurting and destitute while delivering the Good News of Salvation.
She is the founder and director of the École Primaire Jardin de Grace, a mission school of 180 students in Haiti; President of the Garden of Grace Ministries Theological Academy in Burundi, Africa, as well as pastor/mentor to senior ministry leaders in several countries.
As an Author
A student of the Word, Pastor Norma desires to share with the world what she calls her ‘Divine Downloads’. She writes a daily blog called ‘Fresh Bread’ which has recently been printed as a devotional.
As a Pastor
As she operates in her primary call as a pastor by modeling biblical standards for daily living, it is Pastor Norma’s hope that others will gain insights on how to exercise their faith and walk out their own salvation.
She is driven by the vision God has given her to not only shepherd the local church community, but also to disciple the global sons and daughters who are under her charge, equipping them to take their rightful places in the Kingdom building work of God.
